   报告一:     

  (1)主 题:Photocatalysis Fundamental and Applications

  In this work, an efficient wide solar light-driven photocatalyst based on solar UV-blind β-Ga2O3 quadrilateral nanorods (β-GOR) has been modified with cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc). Guided by density functional theory (DFT) calculations and experimental results, H-bond strengthened interfacial connection was established to purchase wide range of solar radiations and applied as an efficient photocatalysts for H2 evolution from water. The optimized 3CoPc/β-GOR nanocomposite unveiled an unprecedented in the quantum efficiency (0.38%) at 660 nm excitation wavelength with outstanding structural stability compare to the pristine solar UV-blind β-GOR (0%). The much extended photoactivities are accredited to the formation of strong H-bond between CoPc and β-GOR, that accelerated charge transformation as confirmed from Bader analysis and work functions, activation of O2, and wide visible-light absorption, DFT and experimental results. We believe that this system will also work for other metal phthalocyanines such as ZnPc, NiPc and HPc together with β-GOR.

  Sharafat Ali was born in Pakistan in 1990, and now works at School of Physics, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, as a post-doctoral. He got a Ph.D. degree in Physical chemistry from Heilongjiang University in 2020. His expertise is focused on photophysics and photochemistry of nanostructured materials. My current research interest is to develop efficient photocatalytic approaches to solar energy conversion (Water splitting/CO2 conversion) and utilization by harnessing solar energy to produce molecular fuels and to degrade environmental pollutants. As a first and co-author, I have published over 20 professional papers in the international SCI journals, such as “Adv Energy Mater”, “Appl Catal B”, J, J Hazard. Mater.  and “Catalysis today”. These papers have been positively cited for more than 600 times. World Journal

  (1)主 题:Overmoded Extended Interaction Circuit with Two Beams For High Power Sub-Terahertz Applications

  The use of two and multiple beams in extended interaction oscillators (EIOs) provides an efficient solution to significantly increase the power level at millimeter and THz frequency. One of the most important factors determining stable operation of such oscillators with this solution is to eliminate the negative effect of the non-uniformity of two or more beams on the stable operation of the devices1, 2. To achieve this point, we propose a novel overmoded extended interaction circuit that has no requirement for the uniformity of two beams. In contrast to conventional EIOs, which are depended on the interaction between the fundamental mode and a single beam in typical ladder-type resonant cavities, the novel circuit with the TM13 mode mechanism duplicates the electromagnetic characteristics of conventional EIO circuits through establishing three sections of half-wavelength, standing-wave fields across the interaction gaps. Simulations results show that the EIO has the ability of operating stably even with two extremely non-uniform beams. The novel circuit is promising in generating high power millimeter-wave, and THz wave for many technique applications.

  毕亮杰, 2020年博士毕业于电子科技大学电子科学与工程学院电子科学与技术专业。现为物理学院物理学专业博士后,合作导师为徐军和蒙林教授。主要研究方向为紧凑型高功率毫米波源的基础理论与应用。
