　　六、内容简介：

　　Science, published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, is one of the most prestigious and influential scientific journals in the world. As a leading multidisciplinary journal, Science upholds rigorous editorial standards to publish groundbreaking research across diverse fields. In this talk, I will provide an insider’s perspective on the editorial and peer review processes that shape the journal. I will discuss how manuscripts are handled by editors, from initial submission to final decision, shedding light on key selection criteria and the role of editorial judgment. The scope of Science and its sister journals, as well as the types of research they prioritize, will also be explored. Additionally, I will offer practical guidance for authors navigating the submission and review process, including strategies for improving manuscript quality.

　　七、主讲人简介：

　　Dr. Jack Huang joined AAAS in 2024 and is primarily responsible for handling submissions related to materials chemistry and renewable energy applications for Science journals. He earned his bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2015 and his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Chad A. Mirkin, focusing on the synthesis, characterization, and high-throughput screening of nanocatalysts. From 2020 to 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Prof. Gerbrand Ceder, working on the design and development of cation-disordered cathode materials and solid-state electrolytes. As the first author, Dr. Huang has published multiple papers in Science, J. Am. Chem. Soc., PNAS, and other flagship journals.
